That's a good way to get referrals, Larry. People want to feel like they mattered, that they weren't "just another sale" and a follow up call will convey that to them. I know I will be more apt to refer others to a business that I felt cared about me and my experience.

I have developed a conscientious notion which I leave always with my customers; and it's simple: We don't believe sales has been completed simply because money for services or goods has been paid. We deliberately ensure you get satisfaction that will be reported to us through a follow up call and ultimately will also ensure you bring another customer to us through a referral system.
